This major urban design project along the right bank of the Bahe River in Xi’an will become an important and vibrant destination for locals and tourist alike. Xi’an is a significant economic and cultural hub in China. With a population of over 8 million and growing the need for quality mixed use development is necessary. The master plan attempts to meet that demand with a resort quality urban plan that includes walkable neighborhoods, a central urban core, a cultural arts and entertainment district and a public greenway and trail systems that complement the 2.5 kilometer river front location. The transit oriented development connects directly to the new rail system.
